Your explanation of debt is correct except for fact that a growing part of that debt is increasingly intergovernmental credit which, I would agree is somewhat alarming. That only tells half the story though. The true test of good debt is it’s ratio of growth caused by that spending. I would love for you to explain how someone under the required qualifications for food stamp benefits would be unfairly benefited by such a program.
